Vice President – Gail.. 144 Paras, 3 “new” We have had some leave and new ones added.
Thanked Deb, Teddy Jr and Vicky for hard work and dedication working on the committee. We
had a lot of interest in people wanting to join in, and we opened it up to everyone. We thought
we were going to have to make a sub-committee, but we have stood strong with these 3
members and our Board working on contract together.
Also, a special thank you to Ted, who works tirelessly with a lot of issues behind the scenes that
people do not see. He is genuinely here for all of us and puts in a lot of time helping everyone,
whether its handling calls, emails or going to meetings to support co-workers. Thank You Ted!

Had 1 st negotiation yesterday and worked very hard on the language of our current contract.
Both sides exchanged proposals
We have a number of changes to propose. They were going to meet and discuss our proposal.
My opinion, everything we are working on for safety, to be in line with teachers, custodians,
secretaries etc. Our contract is vague in some areas, also proposed changing the van drivers
job description. Don’t care how long it takes to get what we want! Will go to arbitration if needed.
( Ted Read the opening statement from yesterday)
Voted on a fundraising for Purple Pantry
Becky to contact Sue Brown and get back to Jody if needed.
